Data Recovery Definition

Database recovery is a procedure in which the DBA is destined to perform in one of the following conditions
1) The database crashes for some reasons
2) Need to bring the database to have the state which was past in time (point in time recovery)
3) Some important data is lost
IN DBMS, this technique is can be performed if the DBA has the BACKUP of the datafiles of the dbms
Simply those datafiles are restored.
