Recuva Data Recovery Download

Best FREE Data Recovery Programs?

I am trying to restore word documents that I deleted, ranging from 3-9 months ago. I downloaded Recuva, and it found a lot of files, but they would not open when I clicked on them. So could you reccomend any other Free Data Recovery programs? Thanks
