Mac Data Recovery Hard Drive
My hard drive on my Mac laptop has failed. System only. How to recover my data?
I took to the local computer guy, he said my hard drive is dead. A recovery machine that he put it in can not even see it or recognize it. He could not help. Any other suggestions? I called some other peple and they want to charge me 700-1200??
Another thing you should always do is Backup your files either to a Time Capsule (OS X only) or to another Windows machine. As for your hard drive, there is nothing you can do except shell out that cash to have a recovery expert to get your data, and sometimes its not guaranteed. I suggest purchasing purchasing a new hard drive that is compatible with your mac, and just start fresh, and buy an external hard drive, that is another suggestion.
