Ipod Touch 4g cant be restored?
Okay, for some time now i have had many ipod problems, My ipod is not jail broken it is the 4g model 8 gb. one day i was going to add an app to my ipod when i got the message or pop up. “itunes cannot read the ipod contents please restore and update. knowing if i restore ill lose all my data i used copy trans manager to back up my ipod (save 170 songs to itunes also my apps where all ready in itunes) so right then i’m thinking im okay to restore it, So i click restore and i wait for it to download and do what it does. i get another error message saying “The ipod could not be restored unknown error” and now i’m suck in recovery mode (on the screen it displays the usb cable pointingto itunes logo.) Please help how can i get out of recovery mode and finish restoring my ipod?
One of the reasons could be is that you dont have the latest verssion on itunes. You can try to download the firmware version, and manually restore it.

make sure you download IOS 4.1 For IPod Touch 4G and when you connect with itunes hold shift and press restore, then locate the file you download and press open.
