how do i recover lost files and data??
my computer was rebooted from the recovery partition, and now there is nothing left.
i have not filled the hdd with any files or data, e.g music photos.
my hard disc properties is showing almost totally free so not much could have been over written.
i am running xp v.2002 service pack 2

I personally use Undelete Plus from http://undelete-plus.com/ but you could also try Recuva from http://www.recuva.com/
