Program to recover data after formatting hard drive?
I messed up bad and formatted the wrong drive while installing my RC Windows 7 copy. It pretty much wiped out 8+ years of digital pictures, 50+GB of music, and all my documents. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good free or low cost data recovery programs. I’ve tried Restoration, Easeus Deleted File Recovery with no luck. I downloaded a trail copy of DiskInternals Uneraser 4.0 and it seems to find some of my media files, but it’s not really user friendly and costs $40 if I want to recover anything over 64kb. So any suggestions? Thanks! Oh and please don’t say I can’t retrieve formatted data, because you are wrong if you say that.

The pro version enables recovering not only photos, but also musics, videos, document, etc. Just that scan may take long time depends on hard disk capacity.
