Does my game data carry over?
Ok my xbox 360 started freezing the other day. And then it gave me the 3-red rings of death. It no longer does but i don’t feel like taking any chances. So I’m looking to get a new xbox but am worried about my saved game data: achievements, checkpoints in games, downloaded content, etc carrying over to my new xbox. I heard about Gamertag Recovery but i’m not sure if it would work the way I have in mind. So will all of my data carry over after i recover my gamertag or not? Any info helps.
yes it will carry it all over, but you know, the red rings of death can be curred, some solutions are offered but the 3 most populars are to soak a towel in ice cold milk, get off most of the milk off it and wrap it around the SIDE of the xbox, the second one is to take the hard drive out, let it rest, then blow in the mechanism and insert back in, then try your luck, and the thrid is just, to punch it, yeah my friends and a couple of dudes over the internet broke the red ring of death by just mashing it with a fist
