Data Recovery Utility Free
HELP!! hard drive problem?
My USB hard drive is corrupt and unreadable.
Check disk won’t work
Paragon software has identified it has having corss linked files and given an I/O error
Other recovery software such as Pandora has identified the drive as a Fat16 drive but it should be NTFS
I have already used a utility to rebuild the Master Boot Table
The hard drive still works mechanically as the used and free space can be identified within Paragon Disk Manager software and the sectors can be seen. However the indexing/ clusters/ mbr etc etc are damaged.
What software could recovery my data in such a circumstance. I would be happy to format the drive again once I have recovered my data

Don’t do anything to the drive, certainly don’t format it.
Download Recuva
http://www.recuva.com/
and run it on your USB drive. It may not be able to recover all your files but it will find most.
