Data Recovery Testdisk

how to change from RAW to NTFS with no data loss?

I recently used a registry edit to allow my HDDs to operate under AHCI instead of IDE as i wanted to hotswsap. This appeared to work well, however my pc took 20mins plus to get past the “windows is starting” screen and my secondary HDD with 1TB worth of data on it has gone fro NTFS to RAW and ive no idea how to change it back without formatting it. I have undone the reg edit and gone back to IDE, this fixed the slow startup time but my HDD is still RAW. ive also ran partition recovery tools on it with no success. under disk management its still shows up as full and whilst using testdisk, the original name of the drive is shown.

any help is much appreciated

Your hard drive is corrupted so that it converts from NTFS to raw, now you need a third party data recovery software for the recovery of your data and files from it, i will suggest you to use Kernel for FAT and NTFS hard disk data recovery software for the recovery of your data and files from it, you have to format the drive then install the software to your computer and then scan your drive, it will preview your data and save it to your location. for more details about recovery go to – http://www.windowsdatarecovery.com
