Data Recovery Software Linux Free

recover deleted linux partition?

i accidentally formated Linux ext2 partition. I was using Ubuntu 7.0.1.
Now I want some how to recover the data on that partition using windows XP( as xp is already installed on my laptop).

Please suggest any good free data or partition recovery software or any other method that could be helpful.
