What do you think of people “obtaining” softwares for free instead of paying?
I don’t do this, but I see people use cracks and keygens to use them for free. Let’s be honest…..how many of you would spend 100-600 dollars on a software than “obtain it” for free?
Also, there are sleezy software creators who will trick you. For example, you download a “free” data recovery software. You can scan deleted file for free, BUT, you have to PAY to save the recovered files into your PC. Now, that’s sleezy and I wouldn’t feel bad for them if people crack their softwares.
What do you people think?
The reason they are sleezy is they don’t tell you to pay until AFTER you spent hours scanning files.
Software is one of the very few commodities that you can get completely free legally. There’s no need to steal commercial software.
If you can’t or don’t want to pay for commercial software there are plenty of free alternatives, everything from the operating system to video editors, image editors, office suites and everything in between.

There are well known very good free data recovery programs, if you want to try something different and get stung that’s hardly anyone else’s fault. There’s reviews of almost every single piece of software ever written you could have looked at before you even downloaded it.
