free software for formatted drive recovery?
accidently i got my data “formatted ” from a hard drive partition…i have tried restoration, recuva etc but none wud work…so if u know free software to recover formatted drive ..pls suggest..thanks in advance.(im running xp pro sp3, opera,firefox browsers, 2 gb trancend ram DDR2)

But since you accidentally formatted the hard drive, I recommend you to try some format recovery program such as this one,

It’s more assured and secure. But before your data are recovered, stop saving more files to the disk in case your formatted data are overwritten.
