Data Recovery Program For External Hard Drive
Will data recovery software work for a clicking hard drive?
I know data recovery software is a good option for corrupted files but what about physical damage? I dropped my external 1TB hard drive and now it makes the clicking sound and is undetectable on “my computer”. If data recovery software is an option could you please recommended a program. Free would be great but I would be willing to spend some money. I’m also willing to send it into a data recovery service. Will trying to retrieve the data myself lower my chances of the data recovery service retrieving my data? Any advice would be much appreciated.
