Data Recovery In Dc
Data recovery from burnt maxtor 1tb hard drive….?
I have recently bought a maxtor 1tb hard drive but I ended plugging in the wrong power supply. My wife moved my original power supply into a box without my knowledge so I assumed the power supply near my desktop (that happens to have the same DC jack) was the supply. The supply used was a 16V supply but now I can’t start the external hard drive and also I try removing the seagate hard drive from the maxtor case and plug into my PC via SATA but my motherboard would not start due to detection of the faulty hard drive. If I replace the circuit board on the hard drive would that resolve the issue. I don’t want to take it into a PC shop to recover the data as it contains sensitive work stuff.
I think you need to send your drive for data recovery service center for status checking whether data recover or not. I think you need to take this decision ASAP. I know one company which deals with both data recovery software & services named stellar information systems ltd. you can try to contact stellar or there support center. http://www.stellarinfo.com/
