Data Recovery Hfs

I need help to recover data from a deleted Mac RAID 0 set (MAC).?

I have accidentally deleted (not formatted) my 400Gb striped RAID set on my apple mac. I have software that can scan each of the drives, so I know that all of my data is still there. What I need is to reconstruct the set to recover the data. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the prices that data recovery companies charge (I was quoted £400+ vat). Hence, I’m hoping that one of you knows of a non-destructive method, or application that I can purchase to do the job.

I appriechate all the replies that I recieve here. All I ask is that if you don’t know please don’t guess. Although your intentions may be good, it won’t help. Also, PC software won’t help as the set was originally formatted using the HFS+ file system.

Thank you in advance

Anton

maybe that will work, have you tried ontrack etc?

perhaps look at

http://www.versiontracker.com to see if theres anything suitable

or maybe apple can recomend something.

my friend had a drive go down, the recovery places can reconstruct damage drives by using a laser to read the drive. it will trash the drive, but he had no option but to use them.

not being funny.. always make backups we used to have loads of customers who didn’t. it’s the easiest way to see a grown man cry.

Unusual data recovery method
