How do I smear a small business’ name?
I had a really bad experience with a data recovery service who didn’t do anything and were beyond rude. Essentially, when I provided feedback and dissapointment with their service the owner/operator called me dumber than a 10 year old boy, threatened to inform my manager for using my work email (my manager was aware) and other things (too many to put into here!!).
I would like to do everything in my power to ensure that his business suffers because of this.
I’m based in Australia so that might make a difference.
Also – I don’t want my name to come out because the psycho that this guy is, he would end up suing me.
The best way to hit them where it hurts is to contact he better business bureau. If a business has to many complaints the BBB can shut them down. Another way to do this is word of mouth. Have you ever heard the saying if you have one satisfied customer they will tell one or two friends about your good service, but if you give bad service they will tell at least ten friends, who will in turn tell more friends?? Trust me it works. Send out a mass email telling of your experience, tell all of the local people you know. It will spread like wild fire. But as I said first thing I would o is to contact the BBB. Before you use any business, you should visit the BBB website and check out the business in question. It is all free of charge!!
