data recovery from 40gb system not starting and installing 160GB H.D.D.?
Can anybody tell me how to recover data from a 40gb h.d.d. and the system is not starting up and there are no beep sounds present computer configuration is mother board 865 GV SERIES 512 DDR RAM LGA 775 PROCESSOR and i have to install 160gb H.D.D. how to do that as there is no hardware engineer available’THANKS AND REGARDS’
To recover data from a 40 GB HDD, simply use the Linux “dd” command with the noerrors flag to handle any bad sectors.
For a system that doesn’t start up and give no beeps, it probably isn’t getting any power. Check and replace the PSU.
