System Recovery Problem!?
I recently did a System Recovery on my HP computer, due to the “Windows Security Alert” pesky virus. I didn’t need discs to do the recovery, and I did it by pressing F11 when starting. I’ve done a system recovery before, and ALL original files were placed.
But the worst occured, and when I completed the recovery, the virus is still there, as well as programs I had before, such as: Safari (Beta version I downloaded), GIMP, Firefox, and Windows Messenger. I think these are reffered to as “data files”, which apparently didn’t get deleted with everyhting else.
Any help with deleting EVERYTHING, and starting fresh?
Please, I need some good help with this thing.

why are you doing a system recovery because of a virus. you dont need to do that. its just ignorant. download a good antivirus(avg) and run it, if you have to, take it to a pctech and have it cleaned up.
