What part of Canada should I move to?
I’ve decided I want to leave the USA and live in Canada instead. I’m researching how to do it legally. I’m considering Vancouver, BC or Calgary, Alberta. A big plus for Vancouver is that I already have a cousin and a friend from high school there. Plus, the climate is milder than where I am now (Omaha, Nebraska). However, I hear Calgary is more affordable. I’m skilled as a data recovery specialist and a photographer. This can be done. Americans do migrate to Canada. I’ll likely go for citizenship. Of course, I’m not set on Vancouver or Calgary. Perhaps there are other places I should consider? I’m a skilled and well-educated professional. I’ll only do this legally — no sham marriage or other shady tricks. It will only be myself moving there. I’m not married and don’t have a family.
Wherever you have the best chance of getting a job. Immigration takes about two years if you qualify.
