How can video data files be recovered on apple ipod touch 4g?
Purchased a new apple ipod touch 4g… recorded a video… then sync’d with old ipod touch to add numerous music files… now my ipod touch 4g has the music files, but the video recorded from the ipod camera has disappeared. I called apple support and they said it could not be retrieved. I looked into data recovery software trying free downloads, but they could not recognize or access the ipod touch 4g. Most operating systems mark a file that has been deleted with a flag for that space to be reused which means that the deleted files are still on the disk (unless that space has been reused). There is a chance that the video file remains on the disk with such a flag. I am not familiar with ipod os to know if the delete process is similar to other os. Does anyone know of a solution to retrieve my video file? It seems the ipod 4g is protected from using as a file storage disk. Thus I cannot get recovery software to even see the ipod.
