On a Mac OS X can you replace terminal.app with iterm?
My sister accidentally deleted terminal.app somehow and I’ve tried everything to retrieve it. I used data and file recovery programs and everything and I tried everything. I discovered an alternative to terminal.app, iterm, and I was wondering if you can use that or is it necessary to have the original command prompt on your computer.
You can use iTerm. But there’s no way to “accidentally” delete Terminal; unless the accident is someone deleting things just because they don’t know what it’s for, which case those people should not be operating a computer.
