Data Recovery After Formatting Hard Disk Software

My computer has been compromised. Help?

My laptop HP Pavilion has been compromised as one of my friends has installed a keylogger I guess. He gets every information related to me as screen shots to his email after certain intervals of time. I am really annoyed and afraid as it might prove dangerous for my accounts and other passwords.
Can system format remove the keylogger completely or whatever monitoring software has been installed on my computer?
I have got four partitions in my hard drive. One is C: which has the Windows & OS.
The second one is Recovery Drive (D:)
The 3rd one is E: drive which contains HP Tools.
and the 4th one is H: drive. Its for general data and all that.

Now if I format or restore the system by using Recovery Discs, Will the keylogger or monitoring software be removed completely?
Shall I format all the four drives or just the C: drive? Because I guess the keylogger can spread its files everywhere in the computer and its hard to detect that.
Please help

If the keylogger is hardware, reformating will not help you. If it is software it will help. Google some pictures and open up your computer(or take to an expert) and take a look.

I would recommend you install keyscrambler. It scrambles your keys making them unreadable. It’s free.
