Windows mobile 2003 data recovery?
I have a windows mobile 2003 based phone that has fallen and know I realize ,that all the non syncronized data is now lost ,due to probably, the battery having been moved . Is there any software or procedure ( apart from activesync ) ,that could allow me to recover lost and non syncronized data ,that was stored when that happened . The data is very important to me . I need your advice . Than you very much .
You might be able to try software, but if you can’t access it, you will probably need to contact a data recovery firm. I don’t know any consumer software meant for mobile phone recovery. Data recovery companies will have the most experience with different kinds of failure related to these devices so you’d probably have the best chance with them. They will be more expensive than software however and probably range around $1000 unless the problem is an easy one to fix (might be the case, never know). Try to find one that has experience with mobile phones, SIM cards, flash memory. Call and ask for quotes, and you’ll probably want to make sure they have a policy to not charge you for recovery work if they are unable to recovery your data.
