Corrupted Hard Drive?
Hello,
I have this internal 3.5 hard drive, which in the past 2 years have been used as an external USB 2.0 thru hard drive enclosure.
Suddenly, the hard drive is corrupted and not readable. I tried every single recovery program, but the scan would not finish. The hard drive is been recognized on Windows platform as a disk drive.
Any suggestions how I can recover my data? Do you think that if I format it the boot sectors would be fixed and later on I can recover the data?!

And yes, I tried running the Check disk feature but it says its not allowed on that drive, could not be started at all.
