bootmgr is compressed?
So yea. I was one of those people who wanted to free up space on their local disk and started compressing it. I have researched the solutions . I’ve downloaded the recovery disc for my OS ( windows 7 32-bit) and wrote the data onto the disc. I placed the cd into my drive, then I boot from cd, but I keep returning to the error message (bootmger is compressed. ctrl alt del to restart), instead of getting to the repair/install screen. So, am I doing something wrong here?
You compressed c: drive to gain space you have two choices boot up and un do the compress the other choice is to format the hard drive and start all over again.
